White Washed

I knew the Lord was asking me to ask Him for a word for His daughters at TTS. I asked Him and I heard the word "whitewash."

At first my mind wondered if he was going to follow up with tombs...But He didn't. He stopped at white wash. So I picked up my phone to look it up and then I thought "no". I'll put it down and ask Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit said, "it's ok, look it up..."

What I found:

• to gloss over or cover up (something as in criminal behavior)

• to exonerate someone through biased presentation of data

• to hold an opponent scoreless

• to alter something in a way that favors it

And then I heard the Lord say, "put it all together".

When Jesus died on the cross and rose again, he glossed over and covered up our offenses, our criminal behavior

He exonerated us via a biased presentation. On the cross, He was presented for all in the most powerful display of kingdom, power, authority and strategy. If He is for us who can be against us.

Our opponent, the devil is scoreless against heaven. As kingdom citizens, he is scoreless against us. Never, never, never forget this!

Always remember who He created you to be.

Through His resurrection, He has altered history to favor us.
